SERIO Roles: Adele (Die Fledermaus)

Bio

Payton McKinnis is a soprano based in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born and raised in Henderson, NV and grew up singing, playing violin, and performing in musicals. Ms. McKinnis went on to earn her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at Chapman University, and then her Masters of Music at the University of Miami. Some of her highlights from her collegiate performances include placing as Runner Up in Chapman’s Aria and Concerto Competition, bringing a Beauty & the Beast pastiche to Miami-Dade K-12 schools with Florida Grand Opera Outreach, and portraying The Foreign Woman in Frost Opera Theater’s The Consul. Adéle is Ms. McKinnis’ first major principle role and she is thrilled to be a part of SERIO this season.
