Bio

Michelle Cali is a Mercyhurst University graduate and student of Louisa Jonason. Michelle recently performed with the Berlin Opera Academy, singing both as Public Opinion in Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld, and The Composer in Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos. Whilst studying at Mercyhurst, Michelle also performed in Gian Carlo Menotti’s operas, Old Maid and the Thief, and The Medium, performing as Ms. Pinkerton and Mrs. Nolan (respectively). In Pittsburgh, Michelle has performed in multiple productions for the Pittsburgh Savoyards, and in 2022, placed in the district round of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition. With SERIO she was most recently seen as Dorabella in Cosi Fan Tutti and just this year has debuted in Tokyo singing Cherubino in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro.
