Bio

Holden Seward is a baritone originally from Richmond, Virginia. He is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance at Carnegie Mellon University. In May 2025, he graduated magna cum laude from the Frost School of Music (University of Miami). Recent performances include: Il Conte di Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro and Simone in Gianni Schicchi with the Opera in the Ozarks, Zalzal/Le Maître in L’étoile and Publio in La clemenza di Tito with Carnegie Mellon Opera, Dancaïro in Carmen and Peter in Mayo Buckner with the Seagle Festival, and the Steward in Flight with Frost Opera Theater. In 2027, Holden will perform the role of Peter in Carnegie Mellon Opera’s Hänsel und Gretel and will be featured in An Evening of Italian Opera. Holden is currently based in Pittsburgh where he works professionally as an operatic baritone.
