Bio

Bob Herold is a retired industrial PhD scientist. He studied voice with Milutin Lazich and has performed with multiple Pittsburgh based groups including Pittsburgh Savoyards, Undercroft Opera, and Tuesday Musical Club.  Favorite roles on stage have included the title role in “The Mikado,” Don Alfonso in “Cosi fan Tutte,” Crespel in “The Tales of Hoffmann,” The Commendatore in “Don Giovanni”, Frank in “Die Fledermaus,” and Sergeant of Police in “The Pirates of Penzance.”  Notable concert performances included the roles of Raphael in Haydn’s “The Creation” and Prince Gremin in “Eugene Onegin,” and the baritone solos in Handel’s “Messiah.”
