Bio

Anthony J. Massetto, Baritone, graduated from Shenandoah University with a Master of Music degree in vocal performance and opera studies.  His operatic roles include the title role in "Gianni Schicchi", Germont in "La traviata". Figaro in "Le nozze di Figaro", Don Giovani in “Don Giovanni”.  Additionally he has played, Billy Crocker in “Anything Goes” and Enoch Snow in “Carousel”, Bob Gaudio in "Jersey Boys" all with Stage Right!.  Oratorios works include Handel's "Messiah", William Payn’s “LOVE” and Robert Cohen’s “Alzheimer Stories”. Anthony has received, the Gold Prize in the World Classical Music Awards in 2022, First Place in the Shenandoah Conservatory Student Soloist Competition in 2021, Third Place in the London Classical Music Competition, and an Honorable Mention in the Bologna International Vocal Competition in 2018. Anthony was a resident artist with Opera North in Lebanon.  He would like to dedicate his performance to his wife, Caroline, and his twin babies, John and Susanna.
