SERIO Roles: Olympia “The Doll” (The Tales of Hoffmann)

Bio

Amber Willis made her SERIO role debut as Olympia in Offenbach’s Les Contes D’Hoffmann. Ms. Willis was most recently seen as La Contessa in Le Nozze di Figaro at Northern Lights Music Festival Opera Apprentice Program. Prior to playing Contessa, she debutedSusanna in Le Nozze di Figaro at Opera Aeterna, May 2025. She performed the roles of Sandman and Dew Fairy in Pittsburgh Festival Opera’s Outreach program, singing for 100s of children in schools. Summer 2023 brought her international operatic debut, singing Musetta in Puccini’s La Boheme at the International Summer Opera Festival of Morelia. She has performed many opera scenes, including the title role of Strauss’ Arabella, Agathe in Der Freischutz, Leonore in Fidelio, and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni. Outside of performing opera, Ms. Willis learns foreign languages, enjoys time in nature, and spends time with her family and friends.
